Vertical Pliers

Correcting rotations is often a challenge with aligners. This pliers emphasizes over-correction of the rotations by producing an indentation at the mesial or distal line angles on the facial and/or lingual of a specific tooth. Vertical indents on opposite sides of a tooth’s facial and lingual surfaces may also be used to create a rotational couple. The Vertical may also be used to create an indent, which acts as a gentle “nudge” to help resolve in-and-out differences.
