Sauerbruch Rib Shears

Sauerbruch Rib Shears are suited for use in Cardiothoracic surgery. These shears are designed to be at an angle that allows the shears to be inserted and clip the rib without interfering with the remaining surgical field. Additionally, this angle positions the handle of the piece out of the surgical field. The hook shaped blade of this shear maintaining stability leading to the cleanest cut and aids in contouring to the rib. The handles feature a rounded protrusion to reduce slippage.
